This exceptional cuvée is crafted from the oldest vines on the estate, planted between 1890 and 1914. Made from the 13 traditional grape varieties of the appellation, predominantly Grenache, it offers remarkable depth, complexity, and elegance.
Vineyard & Vinification: Soil: Sandy-clay. Vine Age: Early 20th century plantings. Vinification: Traditional with long maceration. Ageing: 18 months in old oak casks
Tasting Notes: Deep ruby red in colour. The nose reveals refined aromas of blackberry, raspberry, and cherry, complemented by delicate floral notes of rose and peony. The palate is smooth, full-bodied, and silky, with elegant tannins and lingering fruit flavours.
Food Pairing: Perfect with ribeye steak, slow-cooked stews, game dishes, and mature cheeses.
