Amuse-Bouche de vols aux vents au Brie
Mini pastries filled with Brie
Ingredients for 8 bite sized servings
- 16 mini vols au vents from the French market
- 50gr French Brie
- 50ml Preserve of fig and truffle
Directions:
- Preheat oven to a gentle 160C
- Cut the Brie into small pieces to fit into each mini vols au vent
- Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes until the Brie melts
- Remove from oven
- Spoon a small blob of Fig and truffle preserve over the Brie and serve straight away
Amuse-Bouche chevre cremeux au truffe noir
Creamy goat’s cheese with black truffle topped with truffle honey
Ingredients for 8 bite sized servings
- 8 blinis from the French Market
- 1 tub Picandou soft goat’s cheese flavoured with black truffle
- 30ml Truffle flavoured honey from Italy
- 8 large walnut halves
Directions:
- Lightly toast the blinis in a dry frying pan so that they crisp a little
- Remove from pan and allow to cool
- Toss the walnuts in the dry frying pan over a medium heat until lightly roasted, then cool
- Thickly spread the blini with the goat’s cheese
- Place the walnut on top
- Drizzle truffle flavoured honey over the walnut and cheese
