Emiette au framboise
Raspberry crumble

Ingredients for 4 servings :

  • 125gr flour
  • 125gr white sugar (you can mix white with some golden or brown sugar)
  • 100gr unsalted butter
  • 400gr raspberries


Directions:  

  1. Preheat oven to 180C
  2. Cut the butter into small pieces
  3. In a large bowl, mix flour and sugar together
  4. Add the butter and rub into the flour and sugar with the fingertips, until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs
  5. Place the raspberries across the base of a baking dish
  6. Cover completely with the crumb mixture
  7. Bake for 35 minutes

Serve warm with a bowl of Crème fraiche, accompanied by a glass of Gustave Lorentz’s Cremant d’Alsace, the delicate sparkling wine from Alsace, available in our shop or order online at www.frenchmarket.co.za
