Le Crumble aux framboises
Raspberry Crumble
Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 125gr flour
- 75gr white sugar
- 50gr brown sugar
- 100 gr French unsalted butter from the French Market shop
- 400g raspberries
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 180C degrees
- Cut the butter into small pieces
- Sieve the flour into a mixing bowl
- Add the white and brown sugar
- Add the butter and rub into the flour and sugar with the fingertips until the mixture has the texture of breadcrumbs
- Place the raspberries in a baking dish
- Spread the crumbly mixture over the top of the raspberries.
- Bake for 35 minutes until golden brown on top
- Remove from oven and allow to cool a little before serving
Serve warm accompanied by a bowl of crème fraiche and pair with a glass of Rose l’Exuberance 2022 from Clos Contenac in St Emillion, Bordeaux, available in our shop or order online at www.frenchmarket.co.za.
