Bollinger Special Cuvée is the emblematic non-vintage Champagne of the House of Bollinger, celebrated for over a century for its consistent style, elegance, and complexity. A lively, fresh Champagne, named by Bollinger’s British agent in 1911, celebrates bright pear and plum flavours of Champagne excellence.
Grapes: 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay, 15% Meunier
Vineyards: Over 85% Grand and Premier crus
Reserve Wines: Some aged 7–15 years in magnums
Dosage: 7–8 g/L
Aging: Twice the minimum required by appellation rules
Tasting Notes:
Appearance: Golden hue with fine, persistent bubbles
Aroma: Complex bouquet of ripe fruits, roasted apples, compote, peaches, and subtle spice
Palate: Elegant, structured, and lively; notes of pear, brioche, fresh walnut, and gentle spice; velvety mousse
